Regarding the 2nd issue, only today itself, a tiger entered into the cattleroom of a Sunderbans village, however, forest workers managed to get the 5 year old tigress out from there after firing 2 sleeping pill bullets at her. She has been taken to Sudhanyakhali, after examination, may be she will get her release.

Guys, got a news. A TV Channel scooped that the Govt. of West Bengal is about to come up with the figures of its 2006 Tiger Census. Last time it was around 250-270. Four years is quite a big time to count 250 Tigers, isn't it. Sunderbans is the place, where Tigers have to struggle most as many of its areas are encroached by humans and yes, I don't think there is a Man-Tiger conflict, they roam around into their areas where incidentally humans live and they come looking for soft targets, their cattles, their natural prey.
