Named
after Sadhu Gwalipa. The main attraction of the place
is that the city is surrounded by fort. Occupied by Huns
on 6th A.D., the city was developed by the Kings of Kachawar.
The Golden period of Gwalior was during the regime of
Swai Man Singh. It is also known as "The pearl in
the necklace of the castles of Hind".
