Earlier it was called as Prayag/Tribeni. It is one of
the oldest city (4440 years) of the country. Ganga, Yamuna
& Saraswati, these three rivers have met & merged
in the Sangam place here. At least 15 to 20 millions devotees
comes here to take their holi bath. After every 12 years
'Purna Kumbha' takes place and people from every part
of the world comes to a part in this Maha Mela.
